TRANSPORT

Felidhoo is located 48 miles to the south from Male’ the capital and the International Airport, there are no night transports available. Following are the time tables of the Public and private mode of transports available to Felidhoo (Maldives Homestay Residence)

Province Public Ferry boat

Departure Male’: From South West Harbor at 10:00am every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday.

All passengers are requested to buy the Ferry ticket from the counter located near the departure port. This is a multiple stopover journey, therefore it will stopover at three different islands (Maafushi, Fulidhoo,Thinadhoo) before arriving to Felidhoo. At the second stopover (Fulidhoo), you must change the boat to continue the trip to your final destination, Felidhoo. Estimated time of arrival at Felidhoo is 16h00. Total travel time is eight hours.

Ticket Price: USD $5.00 per person.

Departure Felidhoo: From Felidhoo Harbor at 09:30am every Saturday, Monday and Wednesday.

All passengers are requested to buy the Ferry ticket onboard during the trip. This is a multiple stopover journey, therefore it will stopover at three different islands (Thinadhoo, Fulidhoo, Maafushi) before arriving to Male. At the second stopover (Fulidhoo), you must change the boat to continue the trip to your final destination, Male’. Estimated time of arrival at Male’ is 16h00. Total travel time is eight hours.

Ticket Price: USD $5.00 per person.

Atoll Public Ferry boat (Kashavaru)

Departure Male’, from South Habor (Behind MES School) every Sunday at midnight.

This is also a multiple stopover journey therefore during the trip, boat will stopover at two different islands (Fulidhoo, Thinadhoo) before arriving Felidhoo. The estimated time of arrival at Felidhoo is 10:00am

Ferry Ticket price: USD $5.00 per person.

Departure Felidhoo’, from Felidhoo Habor every Saturday at 08:00am

This is also a multiple stopover journey therefore during the trip, boat will stopover at two different islands (Thinadhoo, Fulidhoo) before arriving Male. The estimated time of arrival at Male’ is 12:30pm

Ferry Ticket price: USD $5.00 per person.

Private Speed Boat charter:

Private Speed boat is the most convenient and fastest transport facility available anytime during the day. Passengers are required to book at least three days in advance. Duration of the trip from Male’ or the international Airport to Homestay (Felidhoo) is a maximum of two hours.

Private speed boat charter price: USD $550.00 per way (maximum 10 passengers).

Note: Speed Boat Charter price is charged per way (Male’ to Felidhoo or Felidhoo to Male’) and not per passenger.
